Let me introduce myself.
My name is Lambertus, but I go by Bert, and my last name is Thurlings.

I live in Eindhoven, which is where the multinational Philips Company was founded; I have worked for Philips for more than 34 years now. I have a lovely wife, Marlies, and two beautiful daughters, Carolien and Marieke, and two son-in-laws Ferry resp. Martin, and a granddaughter Feliz.

My educational background is in electrical engineering, for which I acquired (a long time ago) a PhD degree. A list of my published articles is available here. I have exercised various positions with the Philips company but I'm retired now.
My interests, as may be clear from this website and from my books, include ‘ancient mysteries’ as seen from a technological point of view.
There are many ‘signals from the past’ that tell us that about technology which was used that seemed  beyond the capabilities of the people of that time. You can still view examples of this technology on sites or in museums.

My intension is to make these mysteries available to you in an organised way through this website. You can search via the MYSTERIES button, or if you want to scroll through pictures, visit the GALLERY section. As a work in progress, the website will steadily grow and will therefore be updated at regular intervals (so don't forget to add this website to your Favorites!).

Furthermore, in-depth studies that I undertook were reported in a set of 2 (Dutch) books with the title "Verborgen Geheimen van de Mensheid - Hidden Secrets of Mankind".

They are not exclusively about technology, but also on the issue of ancient climate (the Great Flood, the destruction of Atlantis, etc). Currently I work on a book about the (nonsense of) the climate change.

If you would like to contact me, please folow the e-mail instructions.
